How to Score 15,000+ in ONOMOGO
15,000 is the Daily Challenge gold-medal line and is intended to represent a strong run. Reaching it consistently is less about finding one overpowered card and more about making several systems multiply each other before the clock expires.

Build a rate worth multiplying
The most common structural problem in a weak run is an impressive multiplier sitting on top of very little income. Pickaxes are the base layer. Permanent Engine cards, scalable income and Synergy effects that create pickaxes give every later multiplier more to work with.
Temporary Boost cards can be excellent when multiplier and combo are already elevated, but a short burst taken too early may finish before the rest of the engine exists.
Stack multiplicative systems
ONOMOGO rewards interactions. Pickaxes, multiplier and combo multiply live scoring, while some cards also add final-score bonuses. Improving two independent layers can be stronger than adding the same amount of value to one layer repeatedly.
This is why a run with moderate pickaxes, a healthy multiplier and a maintained combo can outperform a run that chases only one headline number.
Create more useful picks
More picks mean more chances to find scalable cards and more triggers for cards that reward pick count. Permanent Speed, temporary Speed, instant re-picks, extra boxes and Freeze all increase option value in different ways.
Extra boxes improve the quality of each choice rather than the number of choices. Speed and instant re-picks increase how often you choose. Freeze can create more real-world time for cooldowns and scoring while preserving the run clock.
Cross hazard thresholds deliberately
Hazards start when either Speed or the raw same-tag combo reaches a heat threshold. The thresholds are 70%, 80% and 90% Speed, or combo streaks of 4, 7 and 10. The higher of the two determines how many hazards appear on the next offer row.
A threshold is not automatically bad. If an extra level of Speed creates enough extra picks, accepting more hazards can be profitable. The mistake is crossing a tier accidentally when the marginal benefit is tiny.
Time temporary power around a strong engine
Hot Streak, Power Surge, Overdrive, Blood Pact and other temporary effects become much more valuable when they overlap with strong income. If you can choose between firing a temporary multiplier into a weak engine now or after another strong income card, the second sequence can create a much larger scoring window.
Near the finish, the calculation reverses: unused future potential is worthless. Immediate cash, short bursts and score-modifying effects rise in relative value as the remaining clock falls.
A practical 15k route
There is no fixed card order, but the structure of a strong run is repeatable: establish durable income, add multiplier or synergy, improve access to future picks, then convert the final part of the run into concentrated scoring. Use Skip or Buy Now when the value of changing the offer is greater than the score cost.
- Early: favour effects with time to compound.
- Middle: reinforce the tags and synergies already working.
- Before crossing 70/80/90% Speed or 4/7/10 combo, know why the extra heat is worth it.
- Late: cash in temporary multipliers, Boosts and immediate score rather than hoarding future value.
- If a run misses 15,000, diagnose the engine: not enough income, not enough multiplication, too few picks, or too much downside.
